It would be such a painful event that after looking forward to your wedding day, it only gets ruined by painful circumstances. The worst part of it all is seeing your wedding day (which according to many is the best day of their lives) go wrong — events like these can make even the happiest of persons sad and moody.
These are some of those things which can really ruin your wedding day mood:
1. ORGANISATIONAL FAILURE
Poor organisation can ruin a wedding; from the caterer not meeting up to standard or the event planner messing things up with decorations to the DJ failing not arriving on time or certain other logistics not going according to plan. Poor organisation has
ruined the weddings of so many couples and every couple planning their wedding should be wary of this.
2. WEDDING GOWN / MAKE-UP FAIL
The wedding gown is another item that has ruined the wedding day of so many brides. Imagine the zipper of wedding dress getting ruined on your wedding day, or other wedding gown malfunctions — this is never a good situation to be in.
Also, a lot of brides don’t enjoy their make-up and hate the way their face looks on their wedding day. This can make the bride hysterical.
To avoid these situations, buy or rent a wedding gown that’s in good shape and make sure you hire a tried and trusted makeup artist.
3. WEATHER
If you are having an outdoor wedding, certain weather conditions might not be your friend, so it’s important to be make alternate plans just in case rain falls or other weather conditions that you deem unfavorable occur.
4. YOUR DJ AND PHOTOGRAPHER RUIN THE SHOW
You would surely get pissed if your DJ ruins your wedding or your photographer doesn’t take good shots. Music is important, so hire a DJ that you trust and be sure to tell him what you expect of him. Photographs are also important for your very important day, so make sure you hire a photographer that’s top-notch.
5. YOU HAVE MORE GUESTS THAN ANTICIPATED
This is another common wedding day problem many couples face, and it would be an organisational failure to have your guests standing or not catered for. So, rent more chairs in the case of such situation and tell your caterer to make more than the expected amount.
6. FAMILY FEUD
Family feud isn’t an uncommon situation in wedding situations, so it’s important that you place family members who aren’t on good terms or likely to cause a scene apart from each other.
7. DELAYS
Delays are also another common organisational failure that comes with wedding preparations. Avoid last minute preparations; learn to plan ahead of time and keep everyone working for you on their toes — in the sense that they should be prepared and ready way beforehand.
8. DRUNK GUESTS
You wouldn’t want a guest drunk on your wedding day; this would be a wedding mishap that you didn’t plan for. To avoid such a situation, serve mind alcoholic beverages if you want to serve alcohol and be sure that no one is served alcohol in excess.

These eight things are common wedding day fail that every couple should be wary of; they can spoil your wedding day mood — and no one would want a remarkable day in their life to get tarnished.
