The Lioness vibrator's creators claim it can help women understand their sex drive and even learn how long they should spend on foreplay, using data transmitted to an app by embedded sensors
Creators of the Lioness vibrator claim it can help women better understand their sex drive and even figure out how long they should spend on foreplay, using data transmitted to a phone app by sensors embedded inside.
The project reached full funding less than four days after it was posted on Indiegogo.
Lioness co-founder Liz Klinger said: "I grew up in a conservative family. We never talked about sex.
"I wanted to create a vibrator that could empower women to learn more about their bodies."
Data collected by the $230 vibrator - which can run continuously for up to 45 minutes - will be encrypted and made anonymous, Lioness said on its Indiegogo page.
The team headed off another potential worry under the heading, 'Wait...will there be bluetooth in my vagina?' by saying: "Nope. We know that there are a lot of people who don’t like the idea of bluetooth being on while in use, so we made it so bluetooth automatically turns off when you use it."
