Brave Male Survivors Of Rape Share Their Stories To Help Heal Themselves... And Others
Project Unbreakable is an organization
that works to increase awareness of the issues surrounding sexual
assault, and provide an artistic outlet for those who have been
affected. Individuals hold signs quoting their attackers, speaking up
about their experiences and providing a way to heal, both for themselves
and others.
These are images featuring men who have participated in the project.
Many of their testimonies involve society's belittling or dismissal of men who have experienced sexual assault.
This
is all too common, and only through education and awareness can the
public realize that sexual assault is not just a female issue, but is
something that affects everyone, regardless of gender, sex, or
orientation.
