A violent confrontation that led to the fatal shooting of a Good Samaritan was sparked by a domestic dispute over a selfie, the alleged shooter's wife has said.
Quinisha Johnson said her husband of two months, Ricci Bradden, became enraged after she posted the picture on social media and drove to her workplace to confront her about it.
"I was trying to explain it to him, that I married you. You're all the attention that I needed," she told WFAA-TV in Texas.

"And I could feel that he was getting mad, so I tried to walk off, and that's when I heard him pull the gun out."

Police said Bradden fired shots at his wife's feet, striking her once in the ankle.
Anthony Antell Jr, a 35-year-old former US Marine, witnessed the shooting and went to his vehicle to retrieve a handgun.
But when he approached Bradden to make a citizens arrest, the 22-year-old Army private slapped Mr Antell's gun away and shot him in the head, authorities said.

The fatal shooting was witnessed by Mr Antell's wife, police said.
Bradden, who is attached to the 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade at nearby Fort Hood, is being held on a murder charge.
He surrendered to police after discussing the shooting with officers from his unit, officials said.
Mr Antell was a father-of-three. He was a fitness enthusiast and owned a CrossFit gym, according to the family's pastor.
